ABOUT US 

Institute of Disaster Management Ranchi (IDMR) is a non-profit agency dedicated to serve the disaster victims across the country. Newly established NGO has been delicately working for the people of Jharkhand in particular and people of India in general. This organization has major focus on  research, consultancy and field execution of various programmes related to disaster risk reduction. Wide exposures and experiences, and high motivation of Dr. Niranjan Sahoo helped to found this organization in 2015.

Though IDMR is currently working in the state of Jharkhand, but it has future plan to scale up its disaster management interventions in other states of India. The IDMR is governed by  general and executive bodies. Professional of various fields i.e. disaster management, banking, anthropology, IT & computer sciences, banking, rural development etc are directly associated with the organization to take it to greater heights.
